WWII ERA SUIT WITH SLACKS- BUTTER YELLOW RAYON GABARDINE 40's VINTAGE PANT SUIT - BATTLE JACKET
1940's vintage two piece suit with slacks. Butter yellow rayon gabardine... (that 40's drapey gab... like buttah)! Short waisted battle jacket. Long point collar. Channel stitched filled rib trimming at covered button placket, back yoke, cuffs and pockets at slacks. Long sleeves with deep turn back cuffs with rib edging. Attached waistband with three self buttons front, form point center back. Horizontal pleat with rib trim back yoke. Double pleats left and right below back yoke. Flat front slacks. Angled inset hip pockets with rib trim. Center back zipper closure, with button tab at back waist. Rare slacks suit... think Kate Hepburn!

Condition:
Excellent. Jacket shows very small fray at sleeve cap & snag at sleeve. Fabric at one self button well worn. Slacks show only the slightest soil marks, seen only on close inspection.
