Welcome to RPVINTAGE.COM brought to you by Bill & Jean Gold, formerly Repeat Performance Fine Antique Clothing, on La Brea Avenue, in Los Angeles. We have been selling antique and vintage clothing, accessories, textiles and research materials since 1975. We began with a brick and mortar boutique on Melrose Avenue which in many ways defined our career because Melrose became a legend in the 70's and 80's with it's enclave of antiques, artists' and designers' shops & studios. Eventually it became obvious that our calling was to exclusively serve our many costume designer clients. From Titanic to Seabiscuit and from Mad Men to Boardwalk Empire, we found that providing our clients with their special period character needs was what we enjoyed most, so we closed our retail store and concentrated on renting to the industry's most talented costume designers. Then, after 35 years, we sold our brick and mortar and the entire rental collection. It was then that we decided to join the ranks of online businesses and sell our private vintage clothing collection here on RPVINTAGE.COM. That having been accomplished, we are now focusing on vintage costume jewelry and research materials. Not only do we have dozens and dozens of 1900's to 60's vintage Sears, Wards and Spiegel catalogs, but also many hard to find fashion brochures and pamphlets from the late 1800's thru the 1930's.
