OUTSTANDING! THREE PIECE 40's VINTAGE VESTED SWING COAT SUIT - BLACK GABARDINE WITH ECRU AND BLACK TWEEDY STRIPE
Extraordinary tailoring! 1940's vintage three piece gabardine vested swing coat suit! Solid black wool gabardine with ecru and black textured tweedy stripe wool. Coat - Solid black swing coat. No closure Contrasting wide splayed collar, long geometric lapels & facing, deep split & angle point turn back cuffs. 4 - 2 part self button trim, tweedy center, black rims. Long stylized raglan sleeves. Flared back with V yoke. Full black rayon satin lining with cape type hold straps. Vest - Double breasted with double point hem. Solid black fully lined with ecru tweed. (Vest could be reversed to tweedy side if buttons were switched.) Three self button closure with contrasting bound button holes. 2 - 2 part tweedy buttons with black rim, 1 - 2 part black button with tweedy rim. Pencil skirt - Three panel front with two kick pleats lower. Side zip closure. The fine quality and condition of this garment cannot be overstated!
