Los Angeles' most prestigious men's store, Alexander & Oviatt, was founded in 1919 by Frank Alexander & James Oviatt. Patrons of the haberdashery included the likes of infamous Hollywood stars, Douglas Fairbanks, Senior AND Junior. The business was eventually moved to the now renowned ART DECO James Oviatt Building where it maintained it's famous first floor store front.
