1920's vintage work wear / sporting shirt with collar tab/chinstrap. Heather gray wool. Long point collar with collar band button tab (chinstrap). Collar band and tab faced with gray cotton. Two button patch pockets at chest. Original graygreen painted celluloid buttons at upper button placket, pockets and cuffs. Long sleeves with button cuff and button placket. Originally a pullover shirt, altered with applied extended button placket. Light heather graygreen applied placket extension with tan buttons and hand stitched button holes. Shirt tails with cotton (matching collar band facing) side seam gussets. A fine early shirt for sport or work wear and excellent addition to mens wear collection... interestingly altered for original wearer's preference.
