EARLY 1900'S VINTAGE EDWARDIAN ERA GIRL'S WOVEN POLKA DOT DRESS - EYELET TRIM
Delightful 1905 girl's day dress. Ecru cotton with woven white stripes and red dots... charming indeed! Off white eyelet lace trim at shoulders, cuffs and waist. Square cut neckline with self piping. Fitted bodice with pleats below neckline front and gathers center front. A pigeon breasted effect, typical of women's fashion of the period. Pleats and gathers at bodice duplicated at back with less fullness. Short puff sleeves with banded cuffs. Inset waistband. Full skirt with a multitude of tiny gathers at the waist. Center back button & hook closure. Mother-of-pearl buttons. Fully lined bodice.

Condition:
Very good condition. Dress shows some overall general light wear. Skirt shows some small soil marks, which mostly get lost in the gathers. Dress shows a few very tiny inconspicuous wear holes and one small (1/2 inch) fray tear. One M-O-P button is different. Condition of fabric is strong and totally wearable for years to come!
