VICTORIAN 1800's MENS PLEATED BIB FRONT PULLOVER DRESS SHIRT
1800's vintage pleated bib front pullover shirt. Off white shirting linen. Apparently stitched by early lockstitch treadle machine with tiny 25+ stitches per inch and fine finishing by hand. Wide (1 1/2 inch) point end collar band with mother of pearl button closure. Bib front with front facing asymmetric pleats. Starched bib & cuffs. Three button placket with double button holes for shirt studs. Long inset sleeves with gathering at cap and yoke at armscye. Single French cuffs with MOP button at upper cuff near placket and button holes for cuff links at lower cuff. Self gussets at sleeve placket with reinforcement facings. Long shirt tails with self side seam gussets with reinforcement facings.

Condition:
EXCELLENT condition! Amazing condition considering its 120 years! Shows only the tiniest rust pin dots here and there... nearly imperceptible.
