VICTORIAN ERA WOMAN'S WAISTCOAT - HAND EMBROIDERED ON STRIPE COTTON TICKING
Fancy embroidered 1890's Victorian gentlewoman's waistcoat. A remarkable embroidery textile. Meticulously hand embroidered on tan, gray and black stripe cotton ticking fabric. Fully embroidered with rows of double herringbone and feather stitch embroidery. Peter Pan collar. Nipped at waist, then flairs (bustle back) and comes to a point center back. No closures. Vented center back. Black cotton sateen lining.

Bust - 36"
Waist - 28"
Length - 21" center back from collar fold to point
Condition: EXCELLENT. Lining has been replaced with fine black cotton. Light discolor and dye run at underarms.
