No live adult male models were used as all our boys were bravely serving in the battle ground theaters. 523 pages of classic 1940's fashions, home furnishing items and other general department store items. Catalog complete. Book size format results in the largest illustrations and photos of any vintage catalog, giving the reader a great detailed view. Excellent illustrations in the tradition of the All American Norman Rockwell and exquisite photography of women's fashion. Great for historical design research. Condition: Good vintage condition. Visually outstanding all original 1943 Spiegel fall/winter. Shows wear and soil marks to covers, dog ears, 1 1/2 inch tear at top left cover & a few dozen pages. Lays flat at page 18, but no loose pages and spine is secure. The price has been reduced owing to it's condition.
