1940's vintage WWII TWELFTH AIR FORCE SWEETHEART SCARF
1940's vintage WWII homefront scarf. White ground with black, red, and navy print rayon/acetate blend. Print of WWII era bombers and AF insignia. Includes crew created unofficial nicknames for their planes. The Twelfth Air Force was founded in 1942 and one of it's renowned commanders was James Doolittle. Square shape. Rolled hem edges. All original 40's vintage. A keepsake for the sweetheart on the homefront.

Condition:
Good condition. Would benefit from professional cleaning. Shows yellowed areas at center crease and other minor soil marks. No holes or tears. Not perfect, but totally wearable. Price reflects condition.
