1940's vintage IRENE, Bullock's Wilshire two piece gown. Pink textured linen weave rayon with white soutache. Tunic: Fitted bodice with border soutache. Border at left closure. Jewel neckline. Asymmetric button closure with 63 hand crocheted buttons and cord button loops. Short puff sleeves with original shoulder pads at gathered sleeve caps. Skirt: Floor length slim cut skirt with silk hip yoke. Center back metal yoke zipper. Deep kick pleat. Extraordinarily fine design elements and couturier tailoring.
